Exploring the historic streets of Albion in Fable 3 often leads heroes toward hidden collectibles that yield valuable treasure chests. Among the various districts in the city, the Bowerstone Old Quarter holds two specific Silver Keys that require careful exploration. Tracking down these keys allows players to open rare chests scattered throughout the game world.
Locating the Nightshade House Silver Key
The first Silver Key in the Old Quarter is located inside a purchasable property known as the Nightshade House. To find this building, head up the main slope towards the top of the bridge past the pig statue. Locate the property along the right-hand side of the road and purchase it to gain access inside.
Once you unlock the front door, head straight up the stairs to the top floor of the residence. The Silver Key rests openly on this upper floor, waiting for you to collect it. Claiming this key is straightforward as long as you have enough gold saved up to buy the building.
Finding the Waterfront Silver Key
The second Silver Key requires players to head toward the outer boundaries of the district near the city gates. Leave through the main front gate that leads out toward the ocean waters. Follow the stone path leading down the hill toward the coastline.
Turn right along the wall and look for a large tree near a clothesline area. The Silver Key floats right next to the base of this prominent tree along the wall. Simply approach the glowing key to add it to your overall inventory collection.
Impact of the Battle for Albion Story Events
Players should be aware that story events in Fable 3 can dramatically change the appearance of the Old Quarter. Depending on your choices and outcomes during the campaign, parts of the district may suffer heavy damage. However, the Silver Keys remain obtainable regardless of the physical changes to the neighborhood.
If you return to the district later in the game, fast traveling will place you safely near the shore to begin your search. Taking the time to collect both keys ensures you stay on track for unlocking all 50 Silver Keys across Albion.
